Fine used 1840 1d grey-black pl.1b (SG3) lettered TL with fine four margins and showing slight plate wear cancelled fine large part strike of the PLYMOUTH DISTINCTIVE MALTESE CROSS (Spec AS6ui). This being one of the impressions from plate 1b without the ray flaws but showing basal shift under 'O' of one. Very scarce. (Ref 133600).
