Fine letter from Penrith, Cumberland to Montmorencey, Paris with die 1 1d S.C.16 (SG17), centred low and tied '606' numeral of Penrith. On front manuscript charge '8' in black. On reverse 'PENRITH' date stamp AU 25 1854 and 'MONTMORENCEY' date stamp 27 AOUT 1854. Good usage. (Ref 135013).
