Good used circa 1850/1851 1d (SG8) lettered AG, margin just touched at right otherwise close to good margins, cancelled fine upright strike '275' numeral of Ely in blue. Also two other 1d reds, one imperf (SG8) and an 1855 perforated issue with '275' numerals in black. Accompanied by 1845 envelope Ely to Thetford Norfolk with fine 1d (SG8) lettered NH with four fine margins tied very fine strike '275' numeral of Ely in black, on reverse ELY date stamp AP 27 1845.
