1841 MAIL HIGH WYCOMBE, BUCKS TO DARLINGTON WITH 1D PL.15 (SG8)(TJ). Wrapper from High Wycombe to 'Saml. Barnard, Stockton and Darlington Railway Office, Darlington' with very fine 1d deep red-brown (SG8) from plate 15 lettered TJ with fine four margins tied very fine strike High Wycombe Maltese cross in black. On reverse 'HIGH WYCOMBE' date stamp SP 28 1841 and 'DARLINGTON' date stamp SE 30 1841. Stamp shows VERY FINE BASAL SHIFT (Spec BS4c). (Ref 131238).
