1872 DIE PROOF 10D PROPOSED NEW DESIGN WITH COLOURED CORNER LETTERS AND PLATE NUMBERS TOP OF DESIGN ETC. A fine 1872 die proof of the proposed new design for the 10d value with coloured corner letters and plate numbers top of design etc. Proof, 61 x 92mm, in black on glazed card as per design 'B' with date stamp 'Dec 12, 1872' and hand stamp 'BEFORE HARDENING'.
